Took my h22a4 cylinder head to be resurfaced and when I went and picked it up there was metal shavings through the cylinder head. Doesn't look like they even attempted to clean it. The assembly lube that I applied was still on the valve keepers. So I know it didn't get a hot bath or parts wash. Which I think is ridiculous. Good way to lose business and an engine.
Won't recommend to anyone. Hope they close up shop so they don't ruin anyone's engines. Owner is all about money and no quality. Cash only for no paper trail

Well for starters it's cash only... doesn't say that anywhere...not on the door on the walls, no where.
I asked if the noticed that I left a lower spring cap and they said they didn't...got the head back it was there... seems like they don't take more than a 0.0001 seconds to look at anything...hope the head is milled correct... definitely miss other machine shops

These guys did a great job, delivered on time, within the estimate given. Nice to work with a shop that does what they say they are going to do. Definitely recommend this place for all of your machine shop needs.

Been an ASE master for over 30 years. Buyer beware. Don't assume ANYTHING when patronizing these folks. Brought in a set of Kohler lawnmower heads. Said that there was blow by and I coulden't find it. Just go over them. 475.00 later they were picked up. No spray weld, no valve Or guide replacement. Just seals, valve grind and resurface. I could have bought them NEW for less money. They will probably not be in business this time next year.

I have owned an operated an engine shop for 30 years. We all make mistakes. What I experienced here was a complete and total disregard for right and wrong. Keech made a simple mistake on a Toyota engine by not removing the soft-plugs when cleaning the block. This was discovered AFTER the engine was installed and started leaking. When nicely brought to their attention, the employees said they would make it right. Yet Mr. Keech was completely unprofessional and disparative in his treatment of the customer. Not only yelling and claiming it was the customers fault, but also stating that because of the State I am from, I "dont know anything." He offered to refund the charge for cleaning the block but had zero care that the engine had to be removed, disassembled, cleaned, reassembled and reinstalled because of his mistake. Nor did he make any effort to help remedy the issue he caused. Keech showed his true colors while his employees stood by shaking their heads in disbelief.

They cleaned and milled heads for 2008 GMC 5.3 Great Job! Professional and as promised. So happy they turned me and my son on to Chin Track Days at Sebring years ago. Very Grateful.

Very nice guys, fast service in 2 days i have my 2 v6 heads ready, I'm going to stay with this guys, why I need to go to Tampa or Orlando if they here. Some people can be mad when their heads they try to fix it and there's a damage after the job, but things happen. They do the best my work van working strong, no noises, nice power. I'm back to this machine for a Racing project.

1962 Cadillac,,,took the motor out of the plastic and found the new paint literally falling off the motor in big flakes. Grease still caked in the nooks and crannies ,dip stick tube laying on top of the motor bent in half, i am just hopeful that machine work is ok. Called and spoke to Steve the owner, he told me we didn't pay for a show Quality job. I didnt know , if i was told if you pay us more we will do a better job i would have. this is what almost 6k gets you. If you are in the area stop by by shop and take a peak.

Seemed like a very fair price for flow check and machining the head. Turnaround time was only a day. Obviously their timeline can change based on the amount of work in their pipeline, but I'd not hesitate to use them again. Very good experience overall. 👍

Fantastic business. I brought in a turbo 4 cylinder head to get cleaned and resurfaced after I blew a head gasket. I'm thankful I brought it to them as they serviced the head to a mirror finish and showed me pictures of the process. Very professional and nice guys with extremely fast turn-around time. Would highly recommend!

They are great if you are going to rebuild your car engine. They had a 1 week turn-around time, and thats good.

Fair pricing and quick turnaround time. Needed 2 cylinder heads machined and checked. . Ended up needing a camshaft worked and Owners helped me in a pinch Great guys and I will continue to bring work to them.

Steve and his boys do great work. Had us turned around for a valve job on some modular Ford 4.6 heads much faster, better, and cheaper than I was expecting. Will definitely be visiting these guys again for future machine work.

Had my motor (sbc factory roller cam block) over 7 months bored my block .060 over when asked for ,030. ,#4 cylinder ruined, now I know why he didn't charge for boring the block. Stay away from this shop! Now I have to replace the block which is very hard to find!😒 Even had the nerve to charge me 350 for head work knowing he ruined my block and hid that fact which I discovered after getting the block home😤

Dropped off jetski 4 cylinder engine block to be cleaned after returning to pick it up it had salt all over and oil residue still when questioned why its. Like that when I can remove dirt by hand I was totld they dont use acid and was asked to leave the shop just like that.
Rude people and overpriced, I did not even mentioned anything about price I did not even had a chance to talk as soon as I pointed ths salt and oil i was told to leave!!!!!!

amazing service from steve and all the guys in there. steves been doing this for so long you can really tell hes a wealth of knowledge regarding engine building, and doesnt hold back giving great advice. super quick turn around too, all for a great price. shop is kept clean and organized and you dont have to worry about them losing any of your stuff like other machine shops are known for. i cant wait til i have a reason to go back.

The guys are very good at what they do they don't want to sell you anything but what you want for your particular application. They also will help you achieve your goal without busting your wallet. They do exactly what you want in a timely fashion and are very reasonable

Big Machine has completely rebuilt 2 rare heads for me, finding the parts, and painstakingly doing the work so as not to damage the aluminum head. They've also done various bearing presses for me and other machine work. I love their enthusiasm, attention to detail and fair pricing. I don't worry about estimates, I know they'll do the best they can with what I give them. Old school and glad they are.

Dropped off a cylinder and head to be cleaned. The guy I dropped it off with said the cylinder head look like it needed to be milled. He gave me a price and I told him if anything else needed to be done to just let us know. When I got the head back it still has large chunks of carbon all over also three cracked valve seats. I brought the cylinder head back they want $30 to magnaflux after they have already machined the head. I'm not sure how a machine shop would think this is okay. I was told it was my fault for not specifically instructing them to make the repairs for the defects that I did not know were there.

Big Machine THANKS! Steve and Atom built this original FE 427 and it couldn't have come out any better!!! They took the block, inspected it and built it from the ground up. Bored 30 over, new pistons, street/strip comp cam, valve springs and all the machine work to make it right. This went into a 1966 Cobra 427 S/C.
